Are online programs limited to watching videos and doing tests?
In HSE’s online programs, lectures can be either pre-recorded or life-streamed. Students interact with teachers during some lectures and ALL workshops in real time and in accordance to students’ time zone. All assignments are reviewed by the teachers, just like in any campus-based degree. The big advantage for our online students is to have unlimited access to video recordings, they can review lectures any time and as many times as they need, so they can review difficult topics and also combine working & studying.
What about student-teacher interaction? Is it possible in an online course?
HSE’s online programmes allow students and teachers to communicate in all masterclasses, business labs and field research. Students can ask all their questions during lectures and seminars; the teachers are present in real time and ensure an ongoing dialogue. Outside the lectures, you can reach your teacher via e-mail or messengers. The programme also allocates time for individual consultation with teachers.
Given that the courses are 100% online, will I be able to find a job in the industry later?
Our programmes are created in partnership with, and with active participation of industries’ leaders and business key players. Online format allows us to invite experts from all over the world and provide students with global expertise. Not only do the key employers take part in the teaching process, but they also offer internships to our students and jobs to the best interns. No, you will receive exactly the same degree certificate as our campus-based students.
Do I have to go to Russia to receive my diploma ?
You can receive a diploma in any convenient way: electronically, by mail or in person on campus.
