HSE Online covers all of HSE’s online education projects. Its main focus is the development of HSE’s social accountability as a centre of top quality education. HSE Online’s team is engaged in the development and provision of support to long-distance learning, as well as creating online courses for both HSE students and learners from all corners of the world, which helps to promote the university on the global market for educational services.
For students, HSE Online is a way to engage with the university via the screen. For teachers, it means an audience consisting of several thousands of curious and eager students. For researchers, it’s a promising platform for new discoveries. And for HSE, it means new models for teaching and study. Further details can be found here.

Short Outline of the Networking Process
The partner university decides which courses and during which semester its students may study.
The partner university and HSE sign an agreement. The networking agreement shall specify the disciplines and online courses related thereto, their timeframes, as well as a detailed list of participating students’ names and their e-mails.
HSE connects students to online courses, whereby students receive written notification via e-mail and begin their studies;
During the study process, HSE regularly sends the partner university’s project coordinator information about student performance or provides consultations.
At the end of the the course, students who have earned at least 40% marks on the course, shall take a proctored exam. The exam may be retaken once in case of a fail result.
HSE draws up and sends academic records to the partner university.
HSE sends out e-certificates about their participation in the course to students.
