Dmitry Abbakumov's article «Rasch Model Extensions for Enhanced Formative Assessments in MOOCs» was published

The journal "Applied Measurement in Education" published an article by Dmitry Abbakumov co-authored with Piet Desmet and Wim van den Noortgate

The article highlights the features of using the formative assessment of students ' knowledge in mass open online courses, namely: the influence on the accuracy of the formative assessment of factors such as the presence of several attempts for students to answer in test tasks and their interest. Since these factors are a limitation for the objectivity of the formative assessment, the article suggests ways to solve this limitation.
